DID Forwarding facilities

For business travelers who travel frequently to certain destinations and purchases a local SIM card where they travel to, Intregen’s network architecture can provide a DID forwarding facility which you can utilize to eliminate incoming roaming charges. This can only be in use along with GenSmart or GenLite.

If you subscribe to the DID forwarding service, you will be provided with a Singapore fixed line number. Before you leave Singapore to travel, from your GenSmart or GenLite, forward all of your incoming calls to the DID number assigned to you.

When you arrive at your destination country, insert the local SIM card into your GenSmart or GenLite. GenSmart or GenLite will automatically recognize your local SIM number. When someone calls you on your Singapore mobile number, Intregen’s system will automatically redirect the call to your existing (local) SIM card.

GenSmart takes advantage of a modified mobile phone operating system to ensure maximum simplicity while providing the most economical premium mobile phone service available to the traveller today. No applications to download, no settings requirement, no fuss.

Why?

All outgoing calls made with the phone using a specific method (“+” and country code followed by phone number) will be converted into incoming call instead and will go through Intregen’s network. People having free incoming call will save on their outgoing charges as Intregen charged at a lower rate. For example, local calls will be S$0.04 only compared to S$0.16 by Singtel, Starhub and M1.
